EqualLogic Peerstorage Array Implementation Based on
Success and Rapid ROI of Initial Deployment

EqualLogic(R), Inc. today
announced Solucient, a provider of business
intelligence for the health care industry, has
expanded its deployment of EqualLogic's intelligent,
iSCSI-based PeerStorage(TM) arrays based on the
success and rapid ROI achieved through an initial
July installation. The PeerStorage solution provides
Solucient's development lab and select production
systems an all-in-one, self-managing storage area
network (SAN) to handle its rapidly growing data.
With a client base of more than
5,500, Solucient provides information resources to
over 3,000 hospitals and 18 of the 20 pharmaceutical
manufacturers in the United States. Michael Reed,

Solucient had the first
PeerStorage array fully deployed and integrated into

multiple servers including those housing development

load-balances storage resources across disk sets,
arrays and network connections as data loads change
on the servers. This ensures applications are
running at peak performance at all times and
minimizes user interaction.
