IntegraStor Product earns Designed for Windows Logo for
Microsoft VDS and Microsoft Simple SAN Designation for
Windows Server 2003 Users
Irvine, CA -– iStor Networks, Inc. ®, a leader in high
performance iSCSI solutions, has achieved the Microsoft®
Simple SAN for Windows® Server partner designation as a
Microsoft Simple SAN Component as well as the Designed for
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 logo for Microsoft Virtual
Disk Service (VDS) for the iS325. The program provides the
framework to help drive robust, serviceable and easy to use
multi-vendor storage area network (SAN) solutions on the
Windows Server 2003 platform.

The integraStor family of SAN appliances will feature the
“Compatible with Simple SAN for Windows Server 2003”
designation. Each appliance comes pre-loaded with support
for out-of-the-box Simple SAN solution integration with
Microsoft iSCSI software initiator, Microsoft Multi-Path
Input/Output (MPIO), Microsoft Virtual Disk Service (VDS)
and iStor’s Management Console. The integraStor is ideal for
a wide range of customer applications including primary,
near line and tiered storage. Scaling from single boxes to
multi-chassis 100 TB solutions, the integraStor family also
supports Microsoft storage technologies, such as Volume
Shadow Copy Service (VSS), Distributed File System (DFS) and
Microsoft System Center Data Protection Manager 2007. The
integraStor family supports full wire speed connectivity
with single 10GbE or 8 ports of 1GbE, as well as Boot from
SAN for further consolidating & simplifying SAN management,
thus increasing IT administrator productivity. The first
integraStor product with Simple SAN designation is the
iS325; in addition iStor continues its Simple SAN compatible
product line with the introduction of the iS512 scalable
RAID solution shipping in December.
