SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 2005--SANRAD
Incorporated, the iSCSI SAN company, unveiled its new Total
iSCSI SAN-V-Switch, enabling users, for the first time, to
integrate their existing iSCSI storage arrays into a true
iSCSI SAN pool of heterogeneous, multi protocol storage
devices.
By leveraging the powerful storage virtualization and
intelligent storage management capabilities built into the
Total iSCSI SAN-V-Switch, end users can easily add their
iSCSI storage arrays to a pool of SAN storage and then
manage that global storage pool with a full spectrum of
intelligent storage services, including virtualization,
remote replication, data mirroring and snapshots.
The Total iSCSI SAN-V-Switch supports any IETF-compliant
iSCSI storage devices, iSCSI arrays and iSCSI systems so
customers can maximize their existing investment in storage
hardware, especially those who were misled into thinking
that iSCSI arrays provided full SAN functionality.
With the introduction of the Total iSCSI SAN-V-Switch SANRAD
is also breaking the restrictions of today's iSCSI storage
solutions by delivering a full complement of enterprise
applications, such as open storage pooling, virtualization,
local and long distance data replication and disaster
recovery services.
